Six-year-old dies shortly after arriving at QEH
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a six-year-old child.
Johann King, who lived at Jackson, St Michael died yesterday morning, shortly after he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by his mother. Police Public Relations Officer, acting Superintendent of Police David Welch has revealed that a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and to establish whether further investigations were required.
Meanwhile, Barbados TODAY understands, lawmen were searching for a woman believed to be the mother of the deceased child.
Police have asked the public to help them locate 25-year-old Lasonta Katrina Gill, of Belfield Road, Jackson, St Michael.
