Teen charged with carnival shooting

A teenager has been charged in connection with a shooting incident which occurred during Monday’s Christ Church carnival.

Raheem Romanus White, 19, of Hinds Gap, Halls Road, St Michael, was expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today, charged with the use of a firearm, two counts of serious bodily harm, endangering life and affray.

Two people, a 17-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man, suffered injuries as a result of the incident.

Police have not yet released the names of the victims who had to seek medical attention at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

    Because a person has a gun does not mean they own it. Have you not read enough articles to prove there is a high unemployment rate in BIM due to lack of jobs?
