Police probe shooting incident

Lawmen are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in Beckwith Street, The City, early this morning.

According to acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, a 41-year-old man reported that he was shot at around 3 a.m., by an unknown person or persons while in the area.

He was not injured.

The police spokesman also reported that two nearby houses, one in Ashby Alley and the other in Queens Street were damaged.
