Car overturns at Bank Hall

A St Michael man escaped serious injury after the car he was driving overturned along Bank Hall, Main Road, St Michael yesterday morning.

While details of the accident are still sketchy, Barbados TODAY understands that the car, which was driven by 45-year-old Anthony Callender of Jackman’s, St Michael, reportedly struck a pole and overturned around 8:30 a.m.

When Barbados TODAY photographer Remy Rock arrived on the scene, the car was still turned on its side and the occupant was not in the vehicle.

    A bit foolhardy y of that man to handle a dislodged utility pole without knowing if the damage had caused the pole to leak current to earth,which would have completed the circuit through his body.
