Jamaican nabbed with drugs at airport

A Jamaican woman will appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates court today to answer four drug charges.

Gloria Simpson-Harri, 63, has been charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, trafficking cannabis and importation of cannabis.

Simpson-Harris was held yesterday at the Grantley Adams International Airport after being interviewed by police on her arrival.

She was referred to customs and a search revealed four packages containing five pounds of cannabis hidden in a false compartment of her suitcase.

Another bright spark. How comes they are allowing them to leave the airport in Jamaica with these drugs? I think Jamaica is trying to get rid of them so they are saying let Barbados have them. At her age she suppose to be setting a good example to the younger generation. I would like to administer the cat-to-nine tail in her ass.

Recently the sports facility at UWI Cave Hill was named after Usain Bolt, pretty soon we will have to rename Dodds Prisons, DUDAS Prisons.
