Self-employed man denies threatening a policeman
A self-employed man denied using several threatening statements to an off-duty policeman on Wednesday.
Ron Anderson Eastmond, 40, of Washington Avenue, Black Rock, St. Michael, went before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today in the District A Magistrates’ Court. He was granted $3,000 bail.
He is accused of telling the lawman: “I gine mash you up. I gine kill you . . . . I import somebody and pay them a hundred gran to kill [you] . . . . Stop . . . looking at me cause I will come and break in your face. When you pon de off, I gine lick in your . . . face. . . . I got something to cut you in . . . half.”
Eastmond was also ordered to report to Oistins Police Station once a week. He returns to court on August 10.
