No Banks beer shortage

Officials of Banks Holdings Limited have dismissed rumours that the company had run out of its popular Banks beer due to a large influx of visitors for cricket.

A message has been circulating that “Banks Breweries is out of stock of Banks beer mainly caused by the large influx of English visitors for the third and final Test match at Kensington Oval starting tomorrow”.

However, Group Public Relations Manager Sophia Cambridge told Barbados TODAY “there is absolutely no truth to that”.

“We have anticipated the English series for some time. So we are well stocked,” she said. (MM)
