Teen charged with murder

One of the men who was in the car involved in a police chase last week, appeared in the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court today before Magistrate Ian Weekes.
Romario Oneil Boxill, 19, of no fixed place of abode, was not required to plead to any of the five charges against him.
He is accused of the April 16 murder of David Miller and having 16 rounds of ammunition without a permit to do so, along with a 9mm pistol and one 40 calibre pistol which were recovered when the vehicle he was travelling in, overturned at Benny Hall, St Peter.
Boxill is further charged with using an unlicensed firearm on the same date.
He was remanded until May 22 when he will appear at the District F Magistrates’ Court.
The accused teenager is being represented by attorneys-at-law Carol-Ann Best, Allan Carter and Romain Marshall.
