Police Investigation

Police have launched a formal investigation into the video showing a gun at a gravesite.

The gun which dropped as the grave was being filled in.

The video was recorded at the funeral of late Leading Seaman Adrianna Sobers on Monday.

As the grave was being covered, a gun could be seen lying on the gravesite in the Westbury Cemetery.

Minutes later a Coast Guard Officer picked up the weapon after he was summoned to the scene.

However, it appears that two men snatched the gun away from him minutes later.

Lawmen are trying to find those responsible.

This sight is so chilling. So many questions. Unfortunately, what should have been a dignified remembrance of the young woman is forever marred by nonsense. If this was an attempt to dispose of a weapon used in crime, I trust that the police will be as thorough as in recent times and connect any dots.

Why take a gun to a funeral? It could have gone off if the safety wasn’t on.
