For 16-year old Alex Sobers his hard work in preparation for the 30th CARIFTA Swimming Championships paid off.

“Swimming takes a good heart and a lot of training.

“I feel really proud to win both my pet events.”

Alex, a student of the Deighton Griffith school has no plans of abandoning swimming, in fact he intends to go as far as the Olympics.
