Woman gets bail on charges of harbouring wanted men
A 25-year-old woman was not required to plead to two charges of harbouring wanted men at her Taylor’s Gap, Martindales Road, St Michael home, when she went before Acting Magistrate Alliston Seale on Saturday.
The charges were read to Clyesha Shamara Barnard, that she harboured Pearson Jordan and Ricardo Mayers on April 2 this year, with the intention of impeding their apprehension while believing they had committed arrestable offences.
The telephone assistant was granted $15,000 bail and was ordered to report to police every Wednesday and Sunday, by 6 p.m.
She was also placed on a 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and told to return to the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on June 2.
