Kidnapping report made

Police are investigating a possible kidnapping.

Acting assistant senior superintendent David Welch told Barbados TODAYthat the Force had received information to suggest that a man might have been taken against his will at the beach at Drill Hall, St Michael around 8 p.m. last night.

“Investigations are ongoing. We are trying to determine whether the incident did occur and if so, who is responsible,” Welch explained.

However, the police spokesman said he could not reveal the source of the report at this time.

He also said that police had not received any report of a missing person.
