Greenfield resident charged with burglary

Police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Jamal Amal Skeete of Bedford Lane Greenfield, St Michael, with the offence of burglary, following last weekend’s fatal incident  at Dash Gap, Bank Hall, St Michael.

During the melee, 57-year-old Selwyn Knight was reportedly killed and his 27-year-old son Julian Knight shot in the back.

So far no one has been charged in connection with Sunday’s shootings, which are said to have occurred at the hands of a police officer.

However, lawmen say two electronic tablets have since been recovered.

Burglar arrested my tail… For what??.. As an accessory to murder i hope!!.. What about the real crime committed and the perpetrator!!??…. Can’t keep his identity secret for much longer!!. Interesting to note he was acting on his own accord and NOT on official business or duty of the Royal Barbados Police Force!

If he live up by the same man that got killed, didn’t he knew him, why shot him, that seems fishy, he was triggered happy why didn’t he asked questions before he pulled the trigger and call the right authority because he was off duty and they have a code and they would respond quickly, Stupid!!!! They doing American style now shoot first ask questions later.

There’s more to this story that’s they not saying. For one who’s this officer? Why is his identity not revealed? Why did he shoot people he should know from the same community while the criminal got away? Karma knows everyone address. This was an unfair act and a innocent life was taken. He was a father, a son, a husband, uncle etc. What goes around comes right bk around

Sadly nothing will happen to the officer. Nothing ever happened before. It will continue for years to come. In a flawed system like ours, were by police investigates colleagues and friends, nothing will change. It will go down as a policemen fear for his life, so he shot two men in the back.

So wait! The police feel that by charging the burglar, you can distract the public from murder. What about the policeman that shot the victim!!!!

Seriously, a police is required to act period….its funny when its not you being assaulted or robbed and would like an ‘off duty’ police to come to your aid. All the questions might not be answered but people commenting after the fact when they have more information than the police would have had at the time. No one knows the scenario that played out….a police duty is to protect life first regardless of who it is….in this case that might have been the paro. Condolences to the family and not blaming them or the deceased but if i had just caught a man that broke into my house I wasn’t asking him ‘to please return the tablet you took’. Always fast to condemn police til wanna ass need them to sct on wanna behalf..
