Man pleads guilty to 13 traffic offences
Curtis Taylor has until April 16 to pay just over $7 000 in fines to the District ‘A’ Traffic Court, otherwise he will be jailed.
Taylor, a ZR driver from Vauxhall, Christ Church, pleaded guilty to 13 traffic offences when he went before Magistrate Graveney Bannister yesterday.
Between September 2013 and June 2014, Taylor racked up two counts of stopping at the wrong place to drop off passengers, five counts of stopping at the wrong place to pick up passengers, going through a road with a No Entry sign and another road with a No Right Turn sign.
Additionally, Taylor was off route twice and refused to show his badge in a way that it could be easily seen on two other occasions.
His fines raged from $300 to $750 each while the alternatives to the fines were from thirty days to seventy-five days in jail.
Taylor has many previous convictions.
