Barbados take early lead in Davis Cup action

Barbados have taken a 2-1 lead against the Dominican Republic in their Davis Cup Group 1 tie currently being played at the National Tennis Centre.
The home side’s doubles pair of Darian King and Haydn Lewis soundly whipped the Dominican Republic’s Victor Estrella and Jose Hernandez 6-4, 6-2, 6-2, just moments ago.
The result means that Barbados only have to win one of tomorrow’s  two remaining matches to clinch the rubber.
King will take on Estrella in tomorrow’s first match, while Lewis is slated to play up against Hernandez if needed.
