Unemployed man faces four charges
A 32-year-old unemployed man was not required to plead to four charges when he went before a Bridgetown Court today.
Jason Omar McChelston Downes, of no fixed place of abode, is accused of causing serious bodily harm to Semon Thomas with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him last December 21.
He has also been charged with the January 21 offences of damaging a house belonging to Sheldon Yarde, unlawfully and maliciously engaging in conduct that placed Yarde in danger of death or serious bodily harm, and using a firearm while committing the indictable offence of endangering life.
Magistrate Graveney Bannister remanded him until April 1.
