Teenage girl missing

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing girl.

Araya Anita Sandiford, 13, of Rockhampton Road, Grazettes, St Michael reportedly left home around between 5 a.m. and 8.15 a.m. on Sunday and has not been seen or heard from since.

She frequents the Deacons Farm, St. Michael area. Her clothing is unknown.

Araya is 5’3” in height, slim build and of a brown complexion. She has short brown hair, an oval face, and a scar above her right eyebrow. She is small breasted and she has small scars on her legs.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact emergency number 211 or the nearest police station.

    These missing people reports are beginning to sound like its being done for attention. Everyone reported missing found safe thankfully but are people jumping the gun to quickly to make a missing report or are they scared. Thankfully all is well that ends well I hope.

    Is this for publicity? Are these people really missing or do families freak out cause they havent heard from them in a day? No disrespect but this is craziness, people missing every day on such a small island.
