Pride restrict Jaguars


Guyana Jaguars were 173 for nine off 45 overs in reply to a first innings total of 312 all out off 130.4 overs by Barbados Pride when fading light ended play seven minutes before the rescheduled 6 p.m. close on the second day of the seventh round WICB PCL first-class match at Kensington Oval yesterday.

The not out batsmen were Devendra Bishoo on seven and Ronsford Beaton, nought.

Starting the day on 258 for five off 104 overs, Barbados were bowled out 55 minutes before tea. Captain and opener Kraigg Brathwaite topscored with 102, while  leg-spinner Bishoo was the top wicket-taker with six for 94 off 41 overs.
