TC among gospel queens
This weekend the queens “will be in town”, bringing alive the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex with the sweet sounds of gospel.
The likes of Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Michelle Williams, Erica Campbell and Shirley Murdock will be there on Saturday and Sunday beginning at eight o’clock each night.
Locals Sister Marshall, Paula Hinds, Neesha Woodz, Toni Norville, Lauriann and Samantha Gooding will take the stage with the international powerhouses.
And, Terencia TC Coward, most popularly know for her calypsos, will be making her debut into gospel then.
TC told Bajan Vibes she was just following the Spirit.
“At this point in time, I am guided by what the Spirit is leading me to do,” she said.
However as to whether or not she is moving fully into gospel, TC could not say just yet.
“I got a great offer and I gladly accepted. No one knows what is going to happen later on in life, so I cannot say for sure. What I will say, though, is you can expect the highest level performance from me.
“I am artiste with a gift, and I intend to use it,” TC said.
On Saturday night, Grammy Award-winning Yolanda Adams and former Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams will headline the show, and on Sunday, CeCe Winans, Erica Campbell and Shirley Murdock.
