UPDATE: Hurricanes vs Barbados Pride

Leeward Islands Hurricanes, following-on with a deficit of 270, were 23 for two off seven overs in their second innings at lunch on the third day of their fifth round WICB PCL first-class match against Barbados Pride at Kensington Oval.

The not out batsmen were Montcin Hodge on four and skipper Devon Thomas, two.

Sherwin Peters was caught in the slips Kyle Corbin, diving forward, off fast bowler Tino Best for nought (9-1; 2.5 overs).

And Austin Richards, playing across, was leg before by pacer Miguel Cummins for seven (15-2; 3.3 overs).

Bowling: Best 3-1-7-1, Cummins 3-0-9-1, Warrican 1-0-2-0.

Earlier, starting the day on 84 for five off 31 overs, the Leewards were bowled out for 136 off 46.2 overs in reply to a first innings total of 406 for six declared off 149 overs by Barbados.

The innings ended 47 minutes before lunch.

Jahmar Hamilton topscored with 66 from his overnight 30.

Hamilton batted for two hours, faced 85 balls and struck 12 fours. He reached his half-century in 66 minutes off 54 balls with nine fours.

Rahkeem Cornwall, also driving, was swiftly stumped by Shane Dowrich off Warrican for nought (114-7; 37.3 overs).

Hayden Walsh Jr, pushing forward, was leg before wicket by Warrican for three (124-8; 41.4 overs).

Gavin Tonge was bowled by Carlos Brathwaite for seven (135-9; 44.2 overs).

And Hamilton was caught and bowled by Carlos Brathwaite (136 all out; 46.2 overs).

Last evening, Richards, fending, was caught at gully by Carlos Brathwaite off a lifting ball from Best for nought (0-1; 0.2 overs).

Hodge was brilliantly caught at backward square-leg by Roston Chase from a flick off Carlos Brathwaite for eight (16-2; 10.4 overs).

Thomas was caught low at third slip by Corbin off Carlos Brathwaite for nought (25-3; 12.5 overs).

Sherwin Peters, pushing outside the off stump, was caught at the wicket by Shai Hope off Best for 17 (37-4; 17.4 overs).

And Orlando Peters, pushing forward, was bowled by Warrican for six (50-5; 20.4 overs).
