Policewoman charged

Police have charged one of their own for failing to show up for work for just over a week.

Constable Vonnette Lee was released on $7,500 bail when she appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court, charged with being absent from roll call and duty, without lawful excuse, between June 30 and July 8 this year.

The officer, who is attached to the Traffic Division, will return to court on February 20, 2015.
