Police seek help to identify elderly man

Police are requesting your assistance to identify the body of an elderly man who collapsed and died near Grazettes main road around 12:15 this afternoon.

From initial enquiries, the elderly gentleman was in the habit of walking in the area coming from Tudor Bridge and going towards the Grazettes community.

At the time, he was wearing a plaid brown and white long sleeve shirt, a dark coloured long pants, black socks and black laced moccasins. He is about five feet 11 inches tall, dark complexion, slim build, and grey hair with a receding hair line.

He was carrying a black bag at the time.

Anyone with any information as to the identity of this elderly gentleman is asked to contact the Black Rock Police Station at telephone number 417-7500 or Police Emergency number 211.

    The seniors of the island should be given identity or social security cards that should be kept on them at all times in public this would help in identifying purposes within a limited time frame.
