Sigh…no wonder the police in US can say “majority of the crimes are done by black ppl”

I know we are not in the US but, my point is that we can not even prove them wrong here in Barbados, because there has been so much murders in the past couple of months/years…

The dynamics in the two countries are so different. Bim is a majority black country. USA is not. In Bim it stands to reason this will always be true. In the US there is a lot more behind the crime statistics than just the supposed inherent criminality of black people. A lot more.

Exactly. Considering the barbadian population is at least 94% black it’s obvious most crimes will be committed by black people.

Kristle Pile, don’t believe everything you read or hear about in the US. “Black people ” are NOT the ones who are committing the most crimes here. We are the minority. There are WAY MORE crimes that are committed by white people daily. It’s just not heavily broadcasted as such because they’re the ones who own everything and are telling their version of the stories.

Apples and oranges. The majority of murders done by any race is normally done by those of their own race unless you want to mention the Trans-Atlanic slave trade where millions of Africans were murdered by caucasians.

seriously, I thought all this foolishness finish with, not news to wake up too at all

  4. Alex Alleyne November 30, 2014 at 9:18 am

Got to be a reason. No one in their right mind will just drive by , shoot and kill people like in the movies . Too much hollywood style gangster rap video thing going down in BIM . The Police department have their hands full .

  7. Audie Murphy November 30, 2014 at 11:08 am

Dying to get in to Dodds? You mean killing.

    @Alex Alleyne
“Got to be a reason” Seriously, what reason could there possibly be for a drive by shooting – for shooting period?
Do not justify any criminal acts.

We have just crossed over into an age where human consciousness is at another wakening level. Many will be affected in negative ways a fraction small or large in positive ways. We cannot stop crime right now but it will certainly cure itself. We spend too much time looking at the small picture of this life. This planet and many of the humans on it will pay because of the karmic seed which they held for the past few years. Many are not seeing it but sometimes our own personal history comes back to haunt us. The police, lawyers, judges and whoever else is part of the corporal or judicial system can say all they want to reassure the public but they themselves doesn’t even have the answers to lifes problems neither general or personal. We have no one else but ourselves to blame.Parents of this age are too external and the spiritual energy will wipe them all out they are DISHARMONIC or out of tune with the time. People lets face it if someone or anyone takes someone else life then there’s will be taken to unless they know or have the power to change what will befall them( especially in this time). Unity and love is the key to sustenance of human life. SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT is what the generation needs young an old alike not no new Ipad or samsung galaxy or the generation in this time will blindly think that these are a part of life.Nothing is wrong with material but its how we embrace it. The illusion will fall and i mean all of it even you CROOKED ones at the top you know who you are.

    course this is shocking
Enjoying an evening with friends at 9pm and a drive by shooting
This happens a lot in Vancouver and is in the news
regardless of ones colour or who you are
Most is to do with gangs and territories about drugs and money
Thoughts are with all the families

Audie Murphy (Jonh Gant), Thanks for the correction. I notice the error after reading the post.

  12. Carl N. November 30, 2014 at 5:49 pm

Anytime this happens, drugs are involved. Dealers invading others dealers’ territory, etc. Count on it.

I really don’t know whats going on but I really know behind something like this it have to be a retaliation of something that might had happen to lead to this people in Barbados just don’t go around shooting up blocks I am not here to judge people but I honestly believe the same way we can take up a gun we can take up the Bible and seek the Father my concern is that innocent person would have been caught in the crossfire we keep asking our self why our country is not going no were and when things like this happen all it do is bring about a negative outlook about Barbados BUT I AM CONVINCE MORE THAN EVER THAT IF WE ALL CAN SEE WHAT WE CAN DO FOR OUR COUNTRY AND NOT WHAT OR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR US WE WILL BE BETTER OFF ACTIONS LIKE THESES U CANT BLAME ON NO GOVERMENT BLP OR DLP WE HAVE TO BLAME IT ON THE ACTIONS OF THOSES THAT DO IT

  14. Rawle December 1, 2014 at 7:06 pm

Arjun, Of course you are right , but this level of consciousness to which you aver is not yet known nor appreciated by the masses.
