Family in mourning
Fifty-year-old Clevis Worrell recently took up driving a route taxi on the Silver Sands to Christ Church route after being among those who were retrenched from the Drainage Unit.
And last night, his body was found in the vehicle where it was parked at the Shell Worthing Service Centre in Christ Church.
His surviving brothers , Dale and Patrick were visibly shaken at the sudden passing of their older brother.
Dale said he last saw Clevis yesterday morning when he left for work around 6.
Fighting back tears, Patrick said: ” I noticed that when my brother left for work on Saturday morning he did not seem in good spirits. I am aware that he suffers from hypertension. However, his death is a mystery to me.”
Worrell, who was the father of 14-year-old boy, is also survived by a sister, Gina White, who lives in Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church.
Police have classified his death as unnatural and say a post mortem would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
