Guyanese woman pleads guilty to drug charges
A 23-year-old Guyanese national has pleaded guilty to a series of drug charges after she was nabbed on arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Saturday.

As a result, a taped package of cocaine, weighing half a pound, was handed over to police, which was concealed in her body cavity.
Gibson appeared in court today where she pleaded guilty to charges of possession, possession with intent to supply, importation and trafficking.
For the offences of importation and trafficking she was ordered to pay a fine of $20,000 each or spend nine months in jail.
