Drivers gearing up for weekend

This Saturday and Sunday will see a number of top drivers taking part in the Barbados Motoring Federation’s club meet at the Bushy Park, St Philip raceway.

The drivers will have both qualifying and practice sessions on the weekend as several are still in the process of preparing their respective cars for action.

Adrian Linton, clerk of the course,  explained that this weekend will have something for all lovers of motor sports, inclusive of karting, racing by the radical cars and demonstrations. Drivers from the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD) and Bushy Park Motor Sports Inc. will be in action, and racers competing under the aegis of the Barbados Rally Club and Motoring Club Barbados Inc. are also expected to be at the raceway to add further excitement to the occasion.

Racing by the radical cars will open the action on Saturday, before karters take to the track. They will be followed by the drivers of BADD.
