St Michael man dies following stabbing

Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in St Stephen’s Hill, St Michael.

Thirty-seven year old Antonio Stanford is dead after reportedly being involved in an altercation, which occurred just after 1:30 this afternoon at Phillip’s Road.

Police say Stanford received a stab wound to his upper chest and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by a private motorcar.

He was later pronounced dead.

Another man, who police believe was involved in the same incident, is currently undergoing treatment at the QEH for multiple stab wounds.
