More drug charges for St Michael woman

A 48-year-old St Michael woman who was charged in connection with drugs found at the Bridgetown Port earlier this year has, once again, ended up on the wrong side of the law charged with similar offences.

Joanne Cheeseman is due to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow following the discovery of compressed cannabis in eight cans of coffee in a barrel of foodstuff at the port.

The 2nd Avenue Melvins, Black Rock resident was charged by members of the Drug Squad last Friday with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of five pounds of the drug.

It seems so easy to commit crime in Barbados, is as no one have no respect for the law. Earlier in the year a senior police officer, said some persons who are out on bail, just carry on committing crime he was right. What is going to be the outcome of this.

Why should she worry?; 3 men steal 4 million dollars and get a suspended sentence, she should get a reprimand and release then right?

She’s either deaf or her ears need a good syringing. Since the idiot think she is above the law she should be made to pay board and rent for the accommodation in Dodds.
