Graydon Sealy maul Daryll Jordan

Graydon Sealy showed no mercy for Daryll Jordan Secondary mauling them 86-19 as division two action in the 2014 Massy United Insurance Secondary Schools Basketball Competition continued today.

Playing at their Graydon Sealy home court, Shaquan Newton, Andrew Ifill and Theo Greenidge were a nightmare for Daryll Jordan who just did not look competitive and simply gave the Graydon Sealy too many easy scoring opportunities.

At the end of the first quarter, Graydon Sealy led 21-6 with Ifill dominating with ten points. He eventually ended the game on 17 points. In the second-half, Newton showed why he is one of the best young basketball talents on the island when he produced some deft moves to end the quarter with 13 points and put his team up 45-13. Newton was the tormentor again in the third-quarter top scoring with 11 points. At this stage Graydon Sealy had the game in the bag with a commanding lead of 68-13.

The defending champions added 20 points in the fourth and decisive quarter to walk away victorious with Newton finishing with a game high 28 points. Greenidge ended on 14 points and Amal Smith chipped in with ten points.
