Barbados is in serious economic trouble. We need to be improving in all sectors. This crime thing can’t help but make it worse. We are a tourist island. Would you feel safe vacationing on an island where the crime rate is escalating?? Yes…. I am panicking. We just got downgraded 3 notches. Folks are being laid off left and right, hotels are debt ridden, April was the worst month for tourism EVER. Yes I am panicking.

The report i heard is that the suspect was armed with a sword, …. sword vrs gun….???????? then from two until after six, the body still on the scene….

Sword Vs Gun you asked. Remember that the first policeman in recent times to loose his life on the job, was stabbed , if I recall right, with a screw driver.

Great work by the cops. These robbers doing stupidness and causing anxiety and fear in some cases to the citizens. The fact that he also threatened the police shows he was intent on commiting another crime (i.e assault) should he had been confronted during the robbery.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Save the courts time and taxpayers money to keep and feed him in Doods.

Take them out as they surface.

If you get killed while you are committing a serious crime, it is not murder, it is a job well done by who ever the person is that killed you,,big up the RBPF….
