Silburn is facing possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of 1.5 kilograms of the drug.

According to lawmen five taped packages of the illegal narcotic were discovered concealed in his suitcase when he arrived here two days ago.

Meantime, Smith has been charged with possession of half pound of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

What a pity that the two main newspapers in Jamaica,do not see it fit to highlight these drug apprehension cases ,not only in Barbados, but the wider Caribbean,in order to let our brothers and sisters in Jamaica to be aware that drug trafficking in the region is not as easy as some would make it out to them , to be.
