Murder in the City

A 21-year-old man was shot in the head this morning, becoming Barbados’ first murder victim for 2014.

Torian Cleveland Earl, of 10th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael was killed not too far from his home.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said Earl was in a group of people at Kensington New Road, St Michael when a man walked up to him and shot him in the head before fleeing the scene.

Investigations are continuing but no one has been taken into custody so far.
