The illegal firearms and ammunition which police seized this week.

Police have seized four illegal firearms and are questioning two people in connection with the find.

In the first seizure, one automatic firearm was found on “a person of interest”, Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said in a statement issued today.

The other three – two Tech-9 machine pistols and one 9 mm automatic weapon – were found today when lawmen executed a search warrant at a house in Bridgetown. A quantity of ammunition was also seized.
