Man jailed for string of Christ Church burglaries

A 40-year-old man has been jailed for three years for a string of burglaries he committed in Kingsland, Christ Church.

Dale Delon Straker, of Butlers Land, Gall Hill, Christ Church appeared in the Oistins Magistrate’s Court today and pleaded guilty to five counts of burglary; three counts of disorderly behaviour; one count of assault; and one count of resisting arrest.

The offences were committed mostly at night in the Kingsland, Christ Church area between 2013 and 2014.

Straker was sentenced to three years for the burglary offences; 18 months for the disorderly conduct offences to run consecutive to the first sentence; six months on the assault; and six months for resisting.

The charges will run concurrently.

    Should be 10 years minimum, in 3 years or less he will be out doing the very same thieving again
