Police discover more marijuana crops

Law enforcement officers seized another marijuana crop yesterday.

Members of the Drug Squad, assisted by members of the Special Services Unit, Canine Unit and the Barbados Defence Force, conducted an operation at Coach Hill St. John, where 188 cannabis plants were discovered growing.

Six sites awere discovered with plants under cultivation hidden in dense bush. The plants ranged from one foot to six feet in height.

A loose quantity of dried cannabis was also discovered within the same area, weighing 5 lbs.

No arrests were made.
