Police probe suspected murder

Lawmen are probing what appears to be another murder.

The deceased is 45-year-old Linda Tull whose body was found in her car which was parked on a road behind the Oistins Polyclinic around 11:40 last night.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said Tull and her daughter were leaving Oistins when they were accosted by a man known to them.

Tull’s daughter left to get police and when she returned with the lawmen, they found the woman was slumped in her car, injured and unresponsive. An ambulance was summoned but Tull died on the scene.

Lawmen did not report what Tull’s injuries were but said a post morten would be carried out to determine the cause of death.

I wasnt picking on Barbados but sadly there is alot of crime happening on the island & its making news here in the UK. I love the island but I also know people who have never been & are saying they wont as crime is increasing & stories are making the media here. Its not good for the country & my many bajan friends who are telling me how the recession is affecting them.

By all means these are very tragic stories but lets be real, murders happen all over the world everyday so Barbados not immune from such horrible crimes.Folks have to learn to solve problems in a non violent way plain and simple.

It’s pathetic comments like this that allow these animals to continue this behavior. I find Rawles comments offensive and pathetic. If you really think this kind of behavior is acceptable, you are clearly condoning violence towards women, what kind of a man does that make you?

Can I clarify something, a woman is beaten by a man in her car, she dies of her injuries and the heading is “Police probe SUSPECTED MURDER” what the hell do they think? Perhaps she beat herself up and committed suicide?
