Day of verse

Gordon Walters Primary School had it’s first poetry day recently.

The event, organized by the school’s literacy committee under the leadership of reading teacher Natasha Barrow, was designed to expose the students to different forms of poetry and to deepen their interest in verse.

Students and teachers read poems which were either self-penned or written by well-known poets.
