Man charged in connection with fatal accident

A 29-year-old Jamaican national appears in court today charged with causing the death of Carlene Stuart by dangerous driving in the accident at Blowers Road, Ronald Mapp Highway on Wednesday.

Voltan Samuda, who resides in Barbados at Kingsland Gardens, Christ Church, is said to have been the driver of the white vehicle which was involved in a collision with another car.

One of the cars struck Stuart, an MTW Drainage Unit worker, as she stood on the side of the road.

Lock him up, charge him with murder then send his ass back to Jamaica, let him have his time in a Jamaican cell.

Visitors that arrive in the country and do not leave when their time is up need to be seeked out. This is a job for the Immigration office or otherwise post WANTED posters to find out the whereabouts of these people. This person has been left unchallenged and allowed to stay as he pleases and now look what has happened. Poor Ms Stuart just carrying out her job to have her life whisked away like that is awful. The fact that these PIRATES fled the scene is terrible. I agree with Renny to ship his ass out to Jamaica and make sure he never returns.
