Q1:Why did you enter the Miss Big & Beautiful competition?

A1: I entered the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant because I am exceptionally beautiful who is confident with a high self esteem and I want to be a role model and inspiration for all other plus size ladies

Q2:Where do you see yourself in five years?

A2: In five years I see myself as a professional actress or as a small business owner

Q3:What advice would you give other full figured ladies who may interested in entering the Miss Big & Beautiful Competition?

A3:I would advise other plus size ladies who are interested in the pageant to go for it, follow their dreams and be confident in themselves which would allow them to know that beauty comes in all sizes and also that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

Q4:What would you say to persons who believe the Miss Big & Beautiful Organisation promotes obesity and unhealthy living?

A4: For those people who say that the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant promotes obesity and unhealthy living; I would allow them to know that God made each and every one of us just the way he wanted us to be and being big doesn’t automatically mean that you are unhealthy. I would say that this pageant is one the best there is in Barbados not because I am a part of it but simply because it caters to full figured ladies

Q5: How has being in the Miss Big & Beautiful competition impacted on your life?

A5:Being in this pageant has changed me drastically. Being around the other girls makes me feel at home, to know that there is a place I can go where we are all alike in terms of physical appearance, and there is no need to act shy or to feel ‘left out of the circle’ because we all have similar things in common

Q6: Who is your role model and why?

A6:I always look at my mother as my role model because she is always strong, she is independent and is not easily broken, we have a good relationship and she is always backing me 100 per cent in anything positive that I take part it, she looks after all my needs and she is the one who constantly reminds me that I don’t have to worry about what others think about me.

Q7: You have won the Miss Big & Beautiful Competition. How would you use your reign to help uplift and encourage other full figured women with low self esteem?

A7:If I win this pageant I know I will be a role model to other plus size ladies and I would use my reign to help them build their self esteems by encouraging them to love their selves first and to don’t think any less of themselves because of their size. They should use their sizes as an opportunity to stand out and be unique. I would also encourage them to consider entering the Miss Beautiful pageant in the future because it is a wonderful experience and a great opportunity to show the world that big is beautiful.
