Giving thanks

kadooment2013givingthankssistermarshallWhat’s Crop-Over without thanks to God for a healthy crop and prayers for a safe festival?

And as customary, the LIME Gospel Concert at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on July 4 did just that, with the help of artistes like Paula Hinds, Sister Marshall, James Leacock, De Warrior, Gozzy, New Dimension Dancers and more in an event themed Praise Is What We Do.

As the hundreds who packed the event danced in the aisles and worshipped God again this year, it was the perfect start to the month of July which was packed with a multiplicity of cultural and musical events in the penultimate Crop-Over month. (LB)
