Chefette gives back

The paediatric ward in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is now better equipped to cater to the needs of the sick children, their parents and nurses, thanks to the Chefette Restaurant chain.

As part of its community outreach programme, Chefette has donated four recliners, two portable workstations, six ceiling fans and five collapsible work stations.

In a short presentation at Chefette’s corporate office, Managing Director Ryan Haloute said that after visiting the Paediatric Ward he was confident that the items donated would be greatly appreciated by all parties involved.

Administrative Assistant at the QEH, Debra Nurse, said: “Thank you to the management of Chefette Restaurants Ltd on behalf of Dr. Cave, the staff of the Paediatric Department, the children under our care and their parents, for the generous donation presented to us.”

Chefette is appealing to corporate Barbados to join them in supporting such initiatives that will assist the organisation to function more efficiently in its day to day operations.
