NSC gives two marching orders
The National Sports Council has parted company with two of the Barbados’ best known sports personalities.
Jackie Brown and Milton Small were given their marching orders today following an administrative probe which a source at the NSC told Barbados TODAY had the potential to reach the law courts.
Brown, 44, one of Barbados’ best ever defensive netballers, has also played basketball at the national level and is also involved in volleyball. Browne, who plays for St. Barnabas in the local league, was one of the NSC’ principal netball coaches.
Small, 49, played first-class cricket for Barbados between 1983 and 1992 and had a brief international career for the West Indies, playing two Tests and a similar number of One-Day Internationals in 1984.
