Easy victories in tennis competition

The St. Michael School had mixed fortunes today as action continued in the National Sports Council and Barbados Tennis Association’s Under-14 Tennis Competition at the Tennis Centre.

The St. Michael School’s Kyle Frost proved too much for Harrison College’s Liam Russell defeating him 8-0. Queen’s College’s Kamar Clarke then inflicted an 8-1 beating on St. Michael’s Christian Armstrong. Colby Craigwell of St. Michael’s won by default over Harrison College’s Samuel Walker.

In girls’ action, St. Michael’s Jamie Lewis beat schoolmate Kenya Alleyne 8-0 while Ilana Blackwood of Queen’s College defeated St. Michael’s Elise Wilson 8-2.
