St. Martin’s Mangrove Primary were the best school on show this morning as action heated up in the second round of the Pine Hill Dairy-sponsored National Sports Council’s Primary Schools Netball Tournament.

Playing at the Netball Stadium, St. Martin’s Mangrove defeated West Terrace 6-2 and then staved off the efforts of their main challengers Half Moon Fort by beating them 7-6 in a keenly contested game.

Half Moon Fort had earlier played well to dispose of Bay Primary 6-2.

In another game St. Mary’s also got the better of Bay Primary 6-3.

The competition resumes on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Netball Stadium.
