Mixed results for young netballers

Girls continued to show their promise as action continued today in the Pine Hill Dairy-sponsored National Sports Council’s Primary Schools Netball Competition.

Playing at Bridgefield, St. Thomas, Hillaby Turner’s Hall defeated Sharon Primary 3-0. Eden Lodge won 3-2 over Holy Innocents but the St. Thomas school would return in their next game to defeat Sharon Primary 3-0.

At St. Elizabeth in St. Joseph, St. Joseph Primary beat A Dacosta Edwards 2-0, while St. Bernards Primary also defeated A Dacosta Edwards 3-0.

Chalky Mount turned the tables on St. Bernards defeating them 5-0. But St. Bernards would quickly rebound, beating St. Margaret’s 4-1.
