A Jammin’ exam

uwimusicexamsIt was one Jammin’ Exam at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination last evening.

Final year students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts music programme and special guests rocked out to R&B, vintage reggae and calypso stylings to a packed and appreciative audience.

Winners and participants in the recently-held KadUWIval monarch contest were also featured acts, including social commentary winner Apollo and soca king Hance John.

The end-of-year presentation formed part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations under the theme Celebrating the Creative Imagination in Cave Hill’s First Fifty! The four weeks of activity will include presentations of dance, theatre, music, film screenings and art exhibitions. (LW)
