Dancing for life

dancingforlifeMore than 1,000 students from eight secondary schools in Barbados came together on Saturday in a global dance event organised to celebrate the commitment and achievements of dance4life Barbados’ agents4change programme.

There was plenty of action on stage at the Concorde Experience, Grantley Adams International Airport, Christ Church where the event was held as Cover Drive, Mikey, RLG, Kirk Brown, DJ Scribbz and Slee; Alex Jordan & Salt, and Callum Wright entertained the youngsters.

dance4life Barbados empowers young leaders to take action to push back the spread of HIV through youth driven interventions and novel strategies as well as engages, educates and activates young people aged 13 to 19 in a fun and interactive way, strengthening their voice through music, dance, sports and the arts – inspiring them to make positive contributions to their communities.
