Tributes flowed in song and words for young Kimberly Hinds who was laid to rest last Thursday.

Relatives, friends, workmates, neighbours, former neighbours and others who were touched by her in some way packed the Garden Church of God in Reid Road, St. James to pay their last respects to the 24 year-old mother of two who lost her life tragically.

Among the tributes were saxophonist Ricky Niles, soloist Kenneth Armstrong, and teachers of Hillaby/Turner’s Hall Primary where her son was a student.

Reverend Coral Richards in her sermon urged the congregation to always be prepared for death.

Hinds was discovered dead at her Rock Hall, St. Thomas residence. After calls from relatives went unanswered, her landlord and mother went to the home and found her lifeless body.

Conroy Ramsay, 27, of Godding Road, Station Hill, St. Michael was subsequently charged for her murder. (DS)
