Alexandra, Alleyne register wins
Alexandra Old Scholars and Alleyne Alumni both recorded their first wins in the fifth annual Christ Church Foundation School Joel Garner Twenty20 tapeball tournament at Dover, Christ Church last night.
Alexandra defeated fellow St. Peter school Fifth Avenue Fashions Coleridge & Parry Alumni by 30 runs in the Irvine King/Hugh Barker Zone C, while Alleyne beat Princess Margaret Old Scholars by two wickets in the Lee Harford Skeete/Lewiston Wellington Zone A.
There will be another double-header at Dover tomorrow. Matches are: Norman/Roy Marshall Brothers Lodge Road v Harrison College Old Scholars – 6:30 p.m.; Adrian Grant Police v Foundation A Old Scholars – 9:30 p.m.
