Four hurt in crash

A three-vehicle collision today that included two mini buses, just off the Speightstown By-Pass Road, in St. Peter, has left a number of people nursing injuries.

The accident, which also involved a motor car, has resulted in injuries, though not life-threatening, to the driver of one bus driven by Keith Smith, 26, of Woodstock Road, Spooners Hill, St. Michael and passenger, Damien Yearwood, 25, of Boscobelle, St. Peter.

Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector David Welch said, Smith complained of pains about his body, while Yearwood sustained cuts to his feet and forearm.

No information was available on the condition of the driver of the other mini bus, David Green, 54, of Ashton Hall, St. Peter or his passengers. However, the driver of the motor car, Diane Clarke, 32, of Mount Gay, St. Lucy, complained of pains to her chest and right foot. Her son, nine-year-old Daquan Clarke, reported his right thigh hurt.
